Fuel Valve Triumph From issues-02 Triumph Thunderbird?
I have a triumph thunderbird 02 and I have trouble starting when it was not started over a week or two. I keep the bike on a tender of the battery and the whey I use regularly ... it fires at the site. But if I use it for some time that I pull the air box and spray a little starting fluid to start the process. I took the carbs apart and clean. Paddle floats were really closed off, but I'm pretty good clean. I also didn't set the float height, but I was careful not to bend the legs at all. Any ideas on why the bike do start after sitting for a while? PS I shut off the fuel when the bike is not used. Thank you for the reply. The battery is new but ... so I doubt the battery is the problem unless it is defective.
